Itinerary Details

Day 01: Delhi-Jaipur (258 kms / 5 & half hrs drive)

Arrive Delhi & proceed to the Pink city Jaipur.Amber Fort Palace - Jaipur

Jaipur - The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana.  In-spite of growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains its character and history - A beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and modernity. Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria.  Jaipur thrills the soul with its massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples and lush gardens.
Reach and check in at hotel. Relax in the evening at the beautiful hotel.
Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 02: Jaipur

After breakfast, proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Full day sightseeing to various historical places like City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Museum etc. Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Jaipur – Ranthambhore (145 kms / 3 hrs drive)

Today we drive to Ranthambhore National Park, bounded to the north by Banas River & to the Chambal River in the south. It is named after historic Ranthambhore fortress, which lies within the park. The Park was established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in the year 1955 by the Indian Government & was declared as Project Tiger reserves in the year 1973. It became National Park in the year 1980 & later in the year 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include Sawai Man Singh & Keladevi sanctuaries, total area 1334 km.
In the Evening, we take a Jeep safari to try luck in spotting the Tigers. Overnight Wildlife Resort

Day 04: Ranthambhore

Early morning before Breakfast, enjoy Jeep Safari to the Tiger Reserve, since becoming one of the original areas under Project, the park has recovered much of its natural beauty & dry deciduous forest has been restored.

Day 05: Ranthambhore – Agra (260 kms / 06 hrs drive)

Early morning drive to Agra via Bharatpur, erstwhile royal hunting retreat famous for its proximity to Keoledeo Ghana National Park, which has the largest concentration & variety of bird life in all of Asia. Stop by at Fatehpur Sikri, one of the capital cities of Akbar. This new capital came up in 1569. Upon arrival at Agra, check in at hotel. Overnight Hotel

Day 06: Agra - Umaria (By Train) - Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, proceed to visit the symbol of love- the Taj Mahal.  Enjoy battery van ride to the Taj. Transfer to station for train to UMARIA. Overnight will be on train. Umaria is the nearest station to Bandhavgarh national park.

Day 07: Bandhavgarh (35 km / 45 min drive)

Early morning arrive Umaria Railway station and drive to Bandhavgarh national park.

Bandhavgarh national park - Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the wild life sanctuaries in the Indian state Madhya Pradesh. The national park is situated at 197 km away north-east of Jabalpur. This wild life park derived its very name from an ancient fort in the area. Bandhavgarh National Park belongs to the Vindhyan mountain ranges of central India and it boasts to have the highest density of tiger population in the country. Now there are about 46 to 52 tigers one can spot here.

Arrive Bandhavgarh and check in at wildlife resort. Relax for some time and in the afternoon start for game drive at the tourism zone of Bandhavgarh national park.  Overnight stay at resort

Day 08: Bandhavgarh National ParkTiger - Bandhavgarh

Welcome your new day with nature. Be ready to explore the wilderness of Bandhavgarh National Park in open jeep & elephant back. After lunch enjoy the Bird watching and a walk to visit the 2000 year old Bandhavgarh fort. Overnight at the wildlife resort

Day 09: Bandhavgarh National Park - Khajuraho (250 km / 08 hrs drive)

Early morning enjoy jeep ride inside the Bandhavgarh national park. After breakfast, proceed for Khajuraho.

Khajuraho - Situated in the northernmost part of Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho is famous for its enchanting temples and its legendary Khajuraho dance festival. The name Khajuraho is derived from the Khajur tree (the date palm tree) which is grown abundantly in the region. The Khajuraho Temples are dedicated to a celebration of womanhood, her myriad moods and facets. Famous for its erotic architecture, the carvings include, women writing a letter, applying eye makeup, combing her tresses, dancing & playing with her child. Her innocent, blushed, charming, seductive, ardent beauty, all depicted in exquisitely sculptured details. These temples have been designed and carved to lead the eyes from ground level upward till you seem to be looking at heaven.

Day 10: Khajuraho

Morning proceed for the visit to Eastern and Western Set of temples. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel

Day 11: Khajuraho – Varanasi (380 kms / 08-09 hrs drive)

Early morning depart for Varanasi, on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel
Varanasi: One of the oldest cities in the world and the most important pilgrimage site in India. Varanasi or Benares, with its array of shrines, temples and palaces rising in several tiers from the water's edge, is one of the most picturesque cities in the east. The main attraction here are the Ghats (wide stairways, descending from the buildings down to the water's edge), each with its own significance. Since the sixth century BC, this city has been a center of learning and the tradition has been kept alive in a continuous tradition. Most Indians believe that anyone dying in Varanasi attains instant enlightenment. For the western tourist, Varanasi is an ideal window to view thousands of years old Indian cultural traditions. No other place in the world has this timeless quality or such a holy and soulful atmosphere.

Day 12: Varanasi

Welcome a new day in the city of Lord Shiva. After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of some famous temples and Ghats after breakfast visit Sarnath which is barely 9 kms from Varanasi and a premier centre of Budhismand second importance only to Bodgaya. Other important places to visit Dhamek Stupa Ashoka Pillar ruined Monestries which is built during the time Emperor Ashok, third century BC and some famous temples, back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13: Varanasi-Delhi

After breakfast, transfer to railway station to board your train to Delhi with sweet memories of your tour.
